In Coming Patches

Nearly a month after I left Aidava to level Chesha to 80, she has now reached that target! Hurrah!

Unfortunately, this means less time spent on Aidava in the near future. However, with the Hunter ammunition changes (that won't be finished, grr) coming in 3.1, I will return.

Currently on Hiatus

As the title says. This blog, and Aidava, is now on hiatus until I get Chesha to 80 back on BDF. Why? Because I want to. Plus, Aidava is specced BM, which I heard got hit pretty badly in patch 3.0.8.

The idea of a resto specced shaman bouncing about may have also had something to do with it.

Reportin' In

I would be giving you a PuG report now, from my shiny new Report Forms, but it was three of us and a level 60 so it was technically a boost, and Argent Dawn is acting up really badly so everyone except me DC'd at least once.

EDIT WITH ALL THE BITS:

Badlands is now -mostly- done, with just a few outside chain quests and of course another run in Uldaman. However, going to move on to Dustwallow Marsh anyway.

NEW ACHIEVEMENTS:
Dungeons & Raids: Uldaman
Exploration: Explore Badlands

REPUTATION GAINS:
Ironforge +Exalted

I could try and make it a target to attach an exploration achievement to every post but that's practically impossible.

Just Gnomeregan on the reputation list now; hopefully the quests in DWM will give enough overflow rep to keep it steady.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Dustbowl

I'm shocked, I didn't think the Badlands had that much the way of quests... but I am much mistaken. Ironforge quests abound, meaning that Ironforge should get its last bar of reputation pretty soon, and... GNOME QUEST CHAIN.

Did the Swamp of Sorrows, no problem at all.

I have also done the cooking quest.

I do have a gripe, though. I have no problem with the people who want to increase their Bloodsail rep by killing people in Booty Bay. But what really annoys me is when they kill an npc when someone is clearly talking to them. Like my previous encounter, or one that happened today when I just managed to buy my new round of arrows when a dwarf pulled the vendor.

Look out for the next PuG Report soon, Uldaman.

Across Those Green Hills of Stranglethorn

STV IS DONE.

At least, most of it. There are some quests that reach out (to Swamp of Sorrows, Hinterlands) and one quest that is confirmed bugged that I'm going to try again tomorrow; if it doesn't work I'm going to have to call in a GM. Did in two elites solo, and got frustrated when somebody killed a quest giver for Bloodsail rep just as I was about to hand his quest in.

Did a lot of running around, bit of buying stuff from the AH, and am now in the inn at Gadgetzan, awaiting grinding for the cooking quest.

Also, an interesting note - not once today did I drop off to sleep temporarily, which might mean that because of how repetitious the mining gets is the cause.

I didn't check what the status was on the Gnomes, but since most of the quests in STV are for the Steamwheedle Cartel, there wouldn't be that much difference.

NEW ACHIEVEMENTS:
Quests: The Green Hills of Stranglethorn
Exploration: Explore Stranglethorn Vale

Hmm. Swamp of Sorrows next, the few quests that can be found there.

Reeling 'em in

That's it. I've got the Fishing quest out of the way. I was going to do the cooking one too (just the eggs as I bought the Zesty Clam Meat from the AH and the Alterac Swiss from the cheesery in SW) but looking at the level of the mobs on my map I decided to leave it until Lv45.

I also decided to go ahead and finish Green Hills of Stranglethorn, which meant finding out which pages I hadn't got and then getting them from the auction house.

This also meant doing an Elwynn Circuit to get the money to buy the correct pages.

Halfway through I got a whisper from a level 2 Warlock - asking if I wanted to RP. I politely declined as I didn't want to cut the circuit short.

Logged off (Blue Recluse again) after putting the bars in the AH, because for some reason I keep dropping off to sleep whilst on the Circuit, meaning I either run into mobs or into the terrain for a couple of seconds while I regain my bearings.

There Ya Go

Got a decent amount of STV done today, with the completion of the Tiger Mastery line, the completion of the second stage of Panther Mastery, and the completion of the first and second of Raptor Mastery.

It was while I was tracking down Stranglethorn Tigers that I spotted a druid that seemed to be struggling. They'd already tagged the mob, were getting low on health, so I decided to help, killing the mob. A couple of moments later, they pulled two Venture Co. goblins from nearby (they were low enough level for a big aggro range) and I stayed to lend a hand. I'm just glad I was helping someone who didn't just walk away then - they stayed to DPS the goblins a bit, and thanked me afterwards. So this is a shout out to that druid - you're still very welcome.

Also, working on an RP set, with an mini-set, if you will; Gloves, Chest, Legs and Feet, and possibly an Indiana Jones-style hat - it's the rewards from the Mastery quests and the Excelsior Boots.

I think the Blue Recluse has become my official logging out spot.
